I purchased 2 licences to use on my laptops on the 23rd.

I installed 2021 after uninstalling 2007 edition. Installation went fine, however when i went to phone the activation number for Canada, the taped message spoke a bunch of nothing & hung up on me!

Luckily, i had a number for business users to call to activate Office, so i called that number & explained that i was trying to get my copy of Office activated but the number given didn't work. Long story short, the nice lady asked for my installation ID, provided me with a number & voila, it was activated no problem.

You do have to call. When offered an option to be sent a link by text, decline it - you need to do the whole process over the phone. A bit painful but takes just 10 mins.
